Description

WFLC’s Financial Consultations connect participants with knowledgeable volunteers who can help them better understand their financial circumstances, explore available options, and identify practical steps forward.

Volunteer Financial Consultants meet individually with participants and may provide education and guidance around topics such as budgeting, credit, debt, financial planning, and financial considerations related to major life transitions.

Financial Consultants provide education, information, and guidance. They do not manage participants’ finances or make financial decisions on their behalf.

We are looking for financial professionals with relevant knowledge or experience who are comfortable providing supportive, judgment-free information to people with a wide range of financial circumstances.

To learn more about becoming a Volunteer Financial Consultant, email programs@womenandfamilylife.org or call 203-458-6699.
